KL Rahul out of WTC Final, BCCI chooses explosive wicketkeeper as replacement, will make Test debut


New Delhi. The Indian team has suffered a major setback before the ICC World Test Championship final. KL Rahul, who was selected as Team India’s opener and wicketkeeper, has been ruled out of the crucial match against Australia. The BCCI has announced the name of the wicketkeeper in place of the injured Lucknow Super Giants captain during the Indian Premier League. As a replacement for KL Rahul, the BCCI has chosen the name of Ishaan Kishan.

KL Rahul was injured while fielding against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League match. After this, he came down to bat on the field but at the last number. Since this injury, he is in Mumbai and is undergoing treatment. Ishaan Kishan is currently playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL.
