‘Learn from Pujara, the young player who dropped from the team’ praised the former cricketer on his return

New Delhi. Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has praised Cheteshwar Pujara and said that young players should learn from him. Pujara was dropped from the Indian team a while back and now Pujara is returning from the series against England. Along with Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Ishant Sharma were also dropped from the team. Pujara performed brilliantly in first-class cricket and made a comeback.

After being dropped from the team, Pujara played a few Ranji matches. After this went to England for the County Championship. Pujara did an amazing job for Sussex in the county. Here he scored 4 consecutive centuries, including 2 double centuries. Pujara was recalled to the national cricket team after a stellar performance for Sussex.

The Indian team will play a Test match in Birmingham from July 1. This match is part of India’s tour of England in 2021. They have done this.’ Kaif further said, ‘The young players who get dropped should learn from Pujara how to make a comeback. Maybe you should see what Pujara has done in the last 2 months. He has been a great player for India as well and I think he will play at No. 3.
