After the match, Rahul said, ‘I think we started well with 2 wickets in the first over but then let us score 50 runs (47 runs) in the powerplay, we should have done better. I think for 180 runs (181 runs) on this pitch, we gave them 15 or 20 runs more.

He further said, ‘The pitch was not easy to bat. We got the early wickets that we were looking for but in the middle overs we could not create pressure. Rahul also said that he needed a big partnership while chasing the target. He said, ‘We needed a big partnership. We saw what Faf did for RCB in this match. I think we should have played a big innings out of 3 or 4 batsmen in the top order.

Krunal Pandya scored 42 runs for Lucknow. Apart from him, captain Rahul scored 30 and Marcus Stoinis scored 24 runs in 15 balls. At the same time, apart from Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel took 2 wickets for Bangalore, while Mohammad Siraj and Glenn Maxwell took 1-1 wickets.
