Lucknow Super Giants suffered an 18-run defeat at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday. After the defeat, Lucknow captain KL Rahul has called for improvement in bowling and batting. He told that the team needed the same partnership in batting as Faf du Plessis did. Lucknow had to face the third defeat in seven matches. The captain said that despite a good start, his bowlers allowed the front team to score 15 to 20 runs more.
After the match, Rahul said, ‘We started well. Taking two wickets in the beginning and then giving a low score in the powerplay. We could have stopped them for 15-20 runs less. We also needed partnerships with the bat, as Faf did with his other teammates. We couldn’t do that. We have a good team and we have done well in the tournament so far.
