The automobile manufacturer, while stating the reason, said that there is a possibility of defect in the vacuum pump of this car. Hence cars manufactured between 27 October 2016 to 1 November 2019 are being recalled. The company has said that customers may face difficulty in using the brake pedal in these vehicles.
Under the recall, vehicle owners will be informed about the replacement of the defective parts from the company’s official dealer workshop. For this, the company has also said that no cost will be charged from the customers for whatever changes will be made in the cars.
Maruti Suzuki’s official website but one Post Stating that it is also going to conduct service drive soon for 676 units of Ertiga and XL6 manufactured between June 24, 2022 and July 7, 2022. According to the company, there is a possibility of a possible defect in their front driveshaft. The airbag controllers in the cars were reported to be at fault. Due to which the airbags cannot open in case of an accident. The potentially affected models included the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, Maruti Suzuki Eeco, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
