First thing about the design of this electric vehicle. The look of the MG 4 EV is quite interesting. The front end features an aggressive bumper design with pointed headlamps. The side profile of the car looks equally cool with chunky plastic cladding at the bottom of the doors. The headlights get LED projectors and LED 6-trip pattern DRLs. The lower part of the bumper is inspired by the MG5, with sharp cuts and creases that people will love.
As per information, the MG 4 EV will be offered with a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive layout. It can have a 51kWh or 64kWh battery. The first option offers a range of 218 miles (350 km), while the second option offers a range of 281 miles (450 km) on a single charge. Talking about the interior of the car, the interior of the new MG 4 EV looks more modern than the rest of the MG models.
A large central infotainment screen has been given above its floating center console. The conventional analog dial has been replaced by a digital driver’s display. MG 4 EV is going to debut in September this year. The company has confirmed this. It will definitely come in priced lower than the MG 5 electric estate car.
Its 51kWh battery variant can come for around £25,000. While cars with a 64kWh battery are expected to cost around £30,000. The company has not told anything about whether this car will come in India or not. It is being considered as a rival of Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. It has to be seen how this car gets response in the European market.
