New Delhi. The 57th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 was played between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium. In this match, the Mumbai team managed to win by 27 runs. After the batsmen for the team, the bowlers also looked in good rhythm. Where Akash Madhwal got three successes for the team. On the other hand, Piyush Chawla and Kumar Kartikeya got two successes each and Jason Behrendorff got one success respectively.

Gujarat Titans could reach only 191:

Chasing a big target, the Gujarat Titans team could only manage 191 runs at the loss of eight wickets in the allotted overs. Coming down the order for the team, Rashid Khan played an unbeaten fighting half-century of 79 runs in 32 balls at a strike rate of 246.87, but he too could not win the team. Apart from Khan, African batsman David Miller contributed 41 runs in 26 balls. Apart from these two batsmen, Vijay Shankar managed to score 29 runs in 14 balls while batting at the fourth position.

Surya bats fiercely in Wankhede:

Earlier, batting first after losing the toss, the Mumbai team managed to score 218 runs at the loss of five wickets in the stipulated overs. Batting at number three for the team, Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest unbeaten century of 103 runs in 49 balls. During this, 11 fours and six excellent sixes came out of his bat.

Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, the second highest scorer for MI was opener Ishan Kishan. While opening the innings, he contributed 31 runs in 20 balls. Apart from these, Vishnu Vinod managed to score 30 runs in 20 balls and Captain Rohit Sharma managed to score 29 runs in 18 balls.

Rashid Khan shines in bowling:

The most successful bowler for GT was Afghan star Rashid Khan. He got maximum four success by spending 30 runs while bowling four overs for his team. Apart from him, Mohit Sharma took one wicket.
