There has been a kind of panic in the camp of Delhi Capitals, as the Kovid 19 report of four members has come positive in the Delhi camp so far. Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh’s second RT-PCR test has also come back positive. A total of 4 members, including this player, are in the grip of the Corona virus epidemic of Delhi Capitals. Team physio Patrick Farhart was first found to be corona infected.
Let us tell you, Mitchell Marsh will not be seen in IPL for at least 10 days now. Marsh will get an entry in the bio-bubble of Delhi Capitals and IPL only after two consecutive Kovid 19 reports come negative. Apart from Marsh, two members of the support staff of the Delhi Capitals team have also been found to be corona infected. However, it is not yet confirmed whether Mitchell Marsh has been admitted to the hospital.
Two other corona infected team doctors of Delhi Capitals are Abhijeet Salvi and Masseur. Before him, Patrick Farhart was found to be Corona positive. However, the good thing is that the Kovid 19 RT-PCR results of other players and support staff have come negative. In this way, there is no cloud of doubt on the next match of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022.
A senior BCCI official told PTI on Monday, “Mitchell Marsh’s first RT-PCR report came negative. However, the second RT-PCR report turned out to be positive. All other playing members’ RT-PCR test results were negative. There is no threat on Wednesday’s match between DC and PBKS (Punjab Kings).”
