Mohammad Azharuddin said on Virat Kohli poor form even if he hits fifty then people say he has failed


Virat Kohli’s last international century came out in November 2019, since then cricket fans around the world are waiting for his 71st international century. Virat may not have been able to score a hundred in the last two and a half years, but he has definitely scored half-centuries on some important occasions. Former India cricketer and captain Mohammad Azharuddin believes that people’s expectations from Virat have increased a lot. He also expressed confidence that Virat Kohli will return to form on the tour of England.

In an interview given to Gulf News, he said, ‘When Virat Kohli hits fifty, even then it seems that he has failed. Everyone even the best players go through such phase in their career. He has been playing a lot of cricket consistently and now he has got a short break, hopefully he will be back in form in England. Both Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma have been given a break after the IPL.
