Mumbai Ranji Trophy: Prithvi Shaw-led Mumbai beat Uttarakhand by a huge margin of 725 runs to enter the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals. This victory of Mumbai is the biggest victory of first class cricket in terms of runs. Mumbai declared the first innings at 647/8 on the back of Suved Parkari’s (252) double century and Sarfaraz Khan’s 153-run century. Uttarakhand were bundled out for just 114 runs in their first innings. Shams Mulani took the maximum 5 wickets during this period for Mumbai. With a lead of 533 runs, Mumbai declared the second innings at 261/3 and set a huge target of 794 runs in front of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand’s batsmen disappointed once again and the entire team was bundled out for just 69 runs while chasing the target.
