Police has arrested former cricketer Naman Ojha’s father VK Ojha in the bank fraud case. Multai police produced VK Ojha in the court on Monday, during which Naman Ojha was also present. In the Jaulkheda branch of Bank of Maharashtra, a case of fraud of about Rs.1.25 crore was reported in 2013, in this case a case was registered against Naman’s father in 2014.

Naman Ojha’s father VK Ojha was booked under sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B, 34 and sections 65,66 of the IT Act. VK Ojha was on the run since the case was registered in 2014. The police had been looking for him for the last eight years. SDOP Multai Namrata Sondhia said that the accused VK Ojha, who is absconding in the fraud case, has been arrested. He is the father of cricketer Naman Ojha.

Bank manager Abhishek Ratnam, VK Ojha and others posted in Bank of Maharashtra branch Jaulkheda together withdrew money from the bank by making Kisan Credit Card on the basis of fake name and photo. In this case, the then bank manager Abhishek Ratnam, Nilesh Chalotre and others were already arrested. Famous cricketer Naman Ojha has played one Test, one ODI and two T20 matches for India, he has also played 113 IPL matches.
