New Delhi. Two former India cricketers Navjot Singh Sidhu and Gautam Gambhir are face to face. The reason for this is the Prime Minister of Pakistan and former cricketer Imran Khan. While Navjot called Imran Khan his elder brother, Gambhir objected to it on social media. He also linked it to India-Pakistan relations and tensions on the border.
Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan Said to be big brother. BJP leader Amit Malviya has tweeted a video clip in which Pakistani officials are welcoming Navjot when he visited the Darbar Sahib Gurdwara in the neighboring country. When Pakistani officials welcome Navjot, he says- He (Imran Khan) is my elder brother. Love him a lot.’
Rahul Gandhi’s favorite Navjot Singh Sidhu calls Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan his “bada bhai”. Last time he had hugged Gen Bajwa, Pakistan Army’s Chief, heaped praises.
Is it any surprise that the Gandhi siblings chose a Pakistan loving Sidhu over veteran Amarinder Singh? pic.twitter.com/zTLHEZT3bC

Amit Malviya writes in the caption of this video- Rahul Gandhi’s favorite leader Navjot Singh Sidhu called Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan as his elder brother. Navjot had last hugged Pakistan’s army chief General Bajwa, who was highly praised.
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir tweeted about the ‘big brother’ comment.
Former cricketer and BJP MP on this gautam gambhir tweeted, ‘Send your son or daughter to the border and then call the head of a terrorist country big brother.’ Although Gautam Gambhir did not name any particular person in his tweet, but his direct target was on Navjot Singh Sidhu. The special thing is that both Navjot and Gambhir have represented the Indian cricket team for a long time.
Diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan have been strained for a long time. This is the reason that even bilateral cricket series is not organized between the two countries. Teams of India and Pakistan face each other only in global tournaments, ICC tournaments or Asia Cup.
