New Delhi. The New Zealand Cricket Board (NZC) has announced a 15-man squad for the Test series against India. Fast bowler Trent Boult has not got a place in the team. Apart from this, Colin de Grandhomme is also out. Both the players have been in the bio bubble for a long time, due to which they will not enter the series. Bolt took 3 wickets against Team India in the T20 World Cup 2021 match. The 2-match test series is starting from November 25. This series is part of the World Test Championship (WTC). In such a situation, Team India would also like to avenge the defeat in the final of the World Test Championship in June.
New Zealand has given a chance to 5 spin bowlers in the 15-man team. The trio of Ejaz Patel, Will Somerville and Mitchell Santner will lead it. Left-arm spinner bowler Rachin Ravindra can make his Test debut from the series. He made his international debut in the T20 series against Bangladesh in September. Ajaz Patel and Will Somerville have done well together in Tests. Together they have taken 28 wickets in three Tests. He did well against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The players included in the Test team will leave for India on 8 November. The team playing the T20 World Cup will enter the three-match T20 series. T20 matches will be played on November 17, 19 and 21. The first Test will be played in Kanpur from 25 to 29 November while the second Test will be played in Mumbai from 3 to 7 December.
