Pradeep Singh Gusain, project director of NHAI (Roorkee Division), told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, ‘There was no pothole on the road where the accident took place. Gusain also denied that NHAI has repaired the accident site and the ‘potholes’ have been fixed. However, some photographs of a portion of the highway being allegedly repaired by workers went viral on social media late on Sunday evening.
