Not Ishaan Kishan or Sanju Samson in place of Rishabh Pant, but the former veteran dug out a unique option

Ishaan Kishan is the wicketkeeper after Rishabh Pant in Team India.
The Border Gavaskar Trophy will start from 9 February.

New Delhi. These days the Indian team selection seems to be in a lot of tension. It is not a matter of lack of players, but to be a part of the team, more and more people are standing in queue. But on the one hand the team is also facing big setbacks one after the other. Whether it is the injury of Jasprit Bumrah or the accident of Rishabh Pant. Pant had become a victim of a car accident just two days before the new year. After which some players in the team were given a chance.

Ishaan Kishan got a chance in the team, who presented his claim with a double century. As a wicketkeeper, Ishaan Kishan is compensating for Rishabh Pant. Sanju Samson is also engaged in the back line, who has recently recovered from his injury. The real test of Team India will be against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. There is no doubt that Pant’s absence will definitely be missed by Team India. But now the question is, who will make up for him in Tests? Former Indian veteran Akash Chopra has shared his views on this issue. He has chosen another player for the test bypassing Sanju and Ishaan.

KS Bharat would be a better keeper – Aakash Chopra

Regarding Pant’s place, Akash Chopra said, ‘It is really unfortunate that Rishabh Pant is not available for us. He is the kind of player who has the ability to play in all the three formats. I think we will look at different players in different ways. I believe that both KS Bharat and Ishaan Kishan are contenders for Test cricket.

Which captain does Dinesh Karthik like?.. Big gesture by giving statement on Rohit’s captaincy

What is the difference between KS Bharat and Ishaan

Describing the difference between the two players, the former veteran said, ‘If you need a good keeper then KS is Bharat. But if you need an explosive opening batsman and we don’t have a lefty at the top of the order, then Ishaan Kishan is there for him. Personally, Bharat would be my first choice as he can move the scoreboard in Tests. The team needs someone who is capable of handling the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin and Jadeja behind the wicket.
