He further said that the Indian cricket team has a huge talent pool and we can field different teams in all three formats. At the same time, this former veteran all-rounder also expressed his opinion regarding the team selection. He said that frequent changes in the playing-XI should be left to the discretion of the selectors.

Kapil Dev said in a conversation with Gulf News, ‘I think we should leave it to the cricket board what they (selectors) plan. So many cricketers are coming, so everyone should get a chance to play. What I can see from outside is that we may have separate teams for all the three formats in future, ODI, T20 and Test. In this way you will have a big talent pool of players.
