In the first game, Sindhu without attacking the Maldivian rival, used drop shots to collect points.
Sindhu’s amazing comeback
In the second game, Fatima presented a bit of a challenge at the start and was tied at 9-9 with Sindhu as the Indian player gave away points through simple mistakes. But then Sindhu took an 11-9 lead till the break. After this, he made a place in the last 16 by collecting points comfortably while the opponent could score only two points.
Srikanth’s strong comeback
Srikanth was deeply disappointed after losing to his lower-ranked Malaysian J Yong An in the final of the mixed team event. But the world number 13 scored points thanks to drop shots taking his cross court angles. The Ugandan player got most of his points from Srikanth’s innocuous mistakes.
