New Delhi. New Zealand has announced the team for the 3 ODI series against Sri Lanka starting from 25 March. Kane Williamson, Tim Southee, Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner are not included in the team. Finn Allen, Lockie Ferguson and Glenn Phillips will also leave the team after the first ODI in Auckland. Due to IPL, all these players will not play ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka. The New Zealand Cricket Board has given permission to the players.

Kane Williamson, the regular captain of the New Zealand ODI team, is included in the IPL team Gujarat Titans, Tim Southee in Kolkata Knight Riders and Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner in Chennai Super Kings. These four will join their respective teams even before the start of IPL. At the same time, Finn Allen (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Lockie Ferguson (Kolkata Knight Riders) and Glenn Phillips (Sunrisers Hyderabad) will leave for India after playing the first ODI against Sri Lanka on 25 March.
