Ola Electric’s new e-scooter will have party mode feature

Sales of electric two-wheelers have grown rapidly in the country in the last few years. Automobile companies are also launching new electric models in this segment. Among the big companies in this segment, Ola Electric has prepared to launch its new e-scooter on Diwali. Along with this, the company has shown a new feature MoveOS 3 in a teaser video, which looks like Party Mode. In this, music is playing with the lights going on and off.

“Get ready for the new MoveOS that lets you start the party anytime, anywhere,” Ola Electric tweeted. A similar feature has also been seen in the electric cars of the American electric vehicle company Tesla. Apart from the Party Mode feature, Ola Electric can also launch accessories like center stand and tire pressure monitoring. There are speculations that the company is also working on an affordable electric scooter. It will give less range than the e-scooters already available in the market and its power may also be less. Its price is estimated to be around Rs 80,000.

The company has extended the discount offer of Rs 10,000 on its S1 Pro electric scooter till Diwali. The company had earlier given this discount till Dussehra. Ola Electric claims that this offer has been extended due to high demand. The company is also offering a discount of Rs 1,500 on the five-year extended warranty package.

The price of Ola S1 Pro is around Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). After the discount, it can be bought for Rs 1.30 lakh. To avail the discount, customers need to click on the Festive Offers tab on the Ola Electric website. After this, there will be an option to buy the S1 Pro at a discounted price of around Rs 1.30 lakh. The ARAI certified range of this e-scooter is more than 180 kilometers in a single charge. However, in actual conditions it is claimed to be around 170 kms. Its top speed is 116 kmph and it catches the speed of 0 to 40 kmph in less than three seconds. It houses a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery that takes about 6 hours 30 minutes to charge.
