Morena. In the State Level Classic Power Lifting Championship and Bench Press Championship held at Rau, Indore, the entire Morena team, including Roshni, earned many medals by performing brilliantly. Roshni won the title of Strong Woman of MP by performing unique in the sub-junior category. Morena Power Lifting Secretary Arun Sharma said that the entire team of Morena performed brilliantly in the state level competition. Our players won a total of 8 medals including 4 gold.

Roshni, who has won the title of ‘Strong Woman of MP’, has secured her place in the Asian Championship team by representing the Madhya Pradesh team in the biggest sports federation cup in the field of power lifting and earning a gold medal. Many players of the team which went to play state level competition with NIS coach Uday Sharma will now represent Madhya Pradesh team in the national championship.

‘Papa used to say, you can do it’

Regarding this achievement, Roshni said, ‘My family members supported me a lot in this performance. I could not do anything without them. It is not so easy to believe in yourself. Papa kept saying you can do it. This inspired and encouraged me. Also, due to the guidance of the coach, this success was achieved.

These players of Morena won 8 medals

Eight players from Morena won medals in this state level tournament. Among them Priyadarshan Singh Chauhan, Pawan Prajapat, Roshni Pachauri, Anjali Ghanghoria won gold and Nadeem Khan won silver. Kuldeep Dandotia, Vishnu Singhal, Ashiq Khan won bronze medals.
