Iyer said after the match, ‘Yuji (Chahal) changed the course of the match. We were scoring runs at a good run rate right from the start, thanks to Finch. We haven’t been able to maintain that momentum, but it’s part of the game. I wanted to bat till the end, but Chahal changed everything.

KKR captain Shreyas Iyer said that his team started well chasing the target but could not maintain the momentum which had to bear the brunt. Chasing the target of 218 runs of Rajasthan Royals, the team of Knight Riders was reduced to 210 runs in 19.4 overs in front of Chahal’s magic. In this match, Yuzvendra Chahal took 5 wickets for 40 runs in 4 overs for Rajasthan.
KKR in mood to come back after taking lessons from defeat
