In this match, New Zealand got a target of 138 runs to win on the last day and New Zealand had a maximum of 15 overs to achieve this target. Chasing this target, New Zealand scored 61 runs in 7.3 overs at the loss of 1 wicket. Then umpire Aleem Dar decided to stop the match due to bad light. Despite the match being so exciting, the stands in the stadium were empty. For this reason, PCB decided to give free entry to the spectators in the second Test.

The PCB said in its statement, ‘The spectators will only have to bring their original ‘CNIC’ (identity card) to enter the stadium and they can watch the match sitting in any stand premium and first class. The board also said that shuttle service will also be provided between the stadium and the parking area. Spectators will not be allowed to bring eatables, plastic glass bottles. They will only be able to put the flag of New Zealand and Pakistan team.

According to Dawn newspaper, the PCB is approaching schools and other educational institutions to show children and youth the second Test in Karachi.
