New Delhi. Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: The first Test match being played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Galle is at an exciting turn. In response to Sri Lanka’s first innings score of 312 runs, Pakistan finished their first innings on a score of 461 runs yesterday. On the basis of the first innings, the team has got a lead of 149 runs. On the third day of the match for the Pakistan team, Saud Shakeel scored a double century (208 not out) and shared a 94-run partnership with lower-order batsman Naseem Shah to take the team to a huge score. During the batting of these two, former Pakistan captain Aamir Sohai used such words for Naseem Shah, which most people were annoyed by. Sohail has made strong remarks against Naseem earlier also.
According to the report of Cricket Pakistan, this incident happened on the third day of the match when commentator Ramiz Raja said about the batting ability of this young fast bowler, ‘Naseem has no problem in developing batting muscles’.
In response, fellow commentator Sohail said, “There is one more muscle that he needs to develop – brain muscle. By doing this he will become a better cricketer and bowler.” This comment of Sohail went berserk to many cricket fans.
Had made strong remarks against Naseem earlier also
Let me tell you, this is not the first time that Aamir Sohail has made very harsh comments about Naseem Shah’s game. During the series against Sri Lanka last year, Sohail had commented on Naseem’s bowling action and pointed out the need for improvement. By the way, Naseem gave a befitting reply to Sohail with his restrained batting during Pakistan’s first innings. Even though he scored 6 runs, Shakil proved to be a good partner while facing 78 balls. His role in taking Pakistan’s innings beyond 450 runs cannot be underestimated.
