World Cup will be held in India in October-November
Team India is considered favorite
New Delhi. Former captain Wasim Akram believes that the Pakistan team can win the title in the ODI World Cup to be held in India in October-November. He said, Team India is among the strong contenders to win the World Cup, but Babar Azam’s team should not be underestimated. Wasim Akram also gave the reason for considering Pakistan as favorite in the World Cup.
Wasim Akram said, our team is fantastic. Our captain is a great player. Apart from this, we have the strongest pace bowling attack in the world. Wasim Akram, who is called the Sultan of Swing, said, Shaheen Afridi is in excellent form at the moment. He has won the Lahore Qalandars the title of Pakistan Super League for the second time in a row. He is moving towards becoming the best all-rounder. Along with good bowling in PSL, Shaheen Afridi also played many match-winning innings.
In a conversation with Sports Tak, Wasim Akram said, apart from Shaheen, we also have Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain. The world has seen the speed of Ehsanullah’s balls. He is an exciting young fast bowler. According to Wasim Akram, due to the World Cup being held in India, teams with a strong bowling attack will be more successful because the pitches here are batting friendly.
