Pakistan cricket team has not yet got visa to come to India, World Cup is after 4 days

New Delhi, Pakistan’s cricket team will visit India this month and take part in the T20 World Cup. This information may surprise you at first glance. But, this is true. The only difference is that Pakistan’s cricket team of blind players will come to India and take part in the third T20 World Cup from December 5 to 17. For this, soon the Pakistan team will be given visa to come to India.

Mahantesh GK, president of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), confirmed this on Thursday. India and Pakistan are to be face to face on December 7 at Siri Fort Ground. However, there were some issues regarding the participation of the Pakistani team due to delay in issuing visas.

To participate in this tournament, the teams have to reach here by December 4, but the Pakistan team has not yet received permission and visa for this.

Talking to the media, Mahantesh GK told PTI, ‘We all know that it is a challenge for Pakistan cricket players to get visas. The Ministry of External Affairs is working on it and we are confident that he will get the visa.

Teams of New Zealand, West Indies and England are not participating in this T20 World Cup, due to which the teams of Australia, South Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh including host India will show their skills in the 12-day tournament. Matches will be played in Faridabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Indore and Bengaluru. The final match will be held in Bangalore. India won this tournament in 2012 and 2017.
