Pakistan will play World Cup semi-finals, former captain claims, ‘mantra’ given for match against India


New Delhi. Veteran batsman Younus Khan has expressed confidence that the Pakistan team will be able to reach the semi-finals in the ICC World Cup to be held in India this year. Yunus, who won Pakistan the T20 World Cup under his captaincy in the year 2009, said that the team is full of match winners who can win you a match any day.

According to the report of the Pakistani newspaper Daily Times, Yunus said in a conversation with the media in Karachi, ‘I have full faith that Pakistan will be successful in making a place in the top-4. Regarding the match against India, Yunus said that captain Babar Azam and other players will have to keep their mind calm without getting stressed. Matches against India are always full of tension. Pakistan has not been able to beat India in the World Cup so far

Indo-Pak match likely to be held in Ahmedabad
As per the tentative schedule of the World Cup, the Pakistan team will play its matches against two qualifying teams on October 6 and 12 in Hyderabad. He has to play matches against India in Ahmedabad on 15 October while against Australia on 20 October in Bengaluru, against Afghanistan and South Africa on 23 and 27 May respectively in Chennai, against Bangladesh on 31 October in Kolkata, against New Zealand on 5 November To play matches against Bengaluru and England on 12th November in Kolkata.
