Pakistani bowler kept on taking hat-trick in England for second consecutive match, yet wreaked havoc, watch video

New Delhi. Pakistan’s 22-year-old fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has made his mark in a short time. Today his count is among the best bowlers. He was also named Men’s Cricketer of the Year by the ICC earlier this year for his performance last year. Shaheen had recently bowled strong in the domestic series against Australia. He took 9 wickets in 3 Tests and then 8 wickets in limited overs series. After this series, Shaheen is playing county cricket in England and the performance of this Pakistani bowler has been excellent so far. Shaheen took three wickets in a Division-2 match against Leicestershire in the County Championship, after taking 4 wickets on his county debut for Middlesex. During this time he was close to taking a hat-trick. But missed out on achieving this feat.

In fact, Afridi, who was appearing for Middlesex in county cricket, bowled the fifth over for the team. He got Leicestershire opener Hasan Azad (12) caught by his captain on the first ball of this over. On the very next ball, he also bowled Leicestershire captain Colin Ackerman for zero. Afridi was on the threshold of his first hat-trick in the Championship after giving Leicestershire the first two big blows. But he missed the dismissal of Louis Kimber. The video of Shaheen’s stormy bowling has been shared with the official Twitter handle of County Championship.

Even though Shaheen could not hunt Kimber on the hat-trick ball. But he showed this batsman the way to the pavilion on the last ball of the 9th over. However, Shaheen took 3 wickets for 54 runs in 16 overs in the first innings.
