Yashasvi Jaiswal is India’s 17th batsman to score a century in debut test match. In a conversation with ‘Hindustan Times’, Jaiswal’s father Bhupendra revealed that the Indian opener made a video call at 4:30 am after the Dominica Test. Bhupendra, who runs a small paint shop in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi, said, ‘He called me around 4:30 in the morning after scoring a century on the second day of the Dominica Test. He could not control his tears. I cried a lot too. It was a very emotional moment. He could not talk to me for long because he was very tired. He only asked me that you are happy, aren’t you father?
