Toyota may soon launch a new electric sedan car by the name of bZ3, the first glimpse of which has been leaked. A China-based website has shared a picture of this upcoming Toyota electric sedan car, in which its design is clearly visible. Apart from this, the website has also provided various other details about this car. The Toyota bZ3 will reportedly be launched only in China and will have a top speed of 160 km/h.

Furthermore, the electric car will reportedly be built in the FAW-Toyota joint venture. The report also suggests that the bZ3 will launch in the Chinese market by the end of the last quarter of this year. The bZ3 is the production version of the 2021 bZ SDN concept car. At present, no official information has come from Toyota regarding the bZ3.

Earlier this year, Toyota teamed up with GAC to launch the bZ4X, which uses GAC’s electric motor. For the BZ3, Toyota went to BYD. However, the platform is based on Toyota’s own e-TNGA architecture.

The Toyota bZ3 uses a BYD Blade LFP battery pack, but the size of the battery is still unknown. It is reportedly a rear-wheel drive car. It is also said to have 183 hp in the base model and 244 hp in the top-spec model. Top speed of both the models will be limited to 160 km/h.
