New Delhi. Team India is currently playing the first Test match against the West Indies. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal crossed his 150 mark on the third day of the game itself. However, he missed out on scoring a double century. Yashasvi got out after scoring 171 runs. Seeing this brilliant innings of Yashasvi Jaiswal, former Australia batsman Ricky Ponting has also come down to praise him. Apart from this, he named 3 other players who will do better for India in future.

Ponting said in a podcast of ICC Review, “Yashasvi Jaiswal had a great performance in the IPL. He became a superstar there overnight. Everyone knows that this player has a lot of talent. This year I have seen that he has a lot of talent. There are a lot of young Indian players whom I can’t wait to see play Test cricket.”
