New Delhi. In the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2023), 27-year-old young batsman Usman Khan created history. Playing for Multan Sultan, Usman hit a century in just 36 balls. This is the fastest century in the history of PSL so far. He played this brilliant inning during the match against Quetta Gladiator. During this, Usman scored with a strike rate of 279. During this, he hit nine sixes and 12 fours with his bat. In his innings, he scored 120 runs in 43 balls. Gladiator’s captain Mohammad Nawaz dismissed him.
This is the second fastest T20 century in the history of Pakistan cricket. Earlier, T20 century has also been scored in Pakistan on 35 balls. In the year 2020, Khushdil Shah did this feat in Pakistan’s domestic cricket. On the other hand, if we look at the record of the fastest century in PSL earlier, it was in the name of Riley Rosso of South Africa. Rosso had scored a century in 41 balls. He broke the record of PSL century in his own 43 balls in the said match. In the year 2020, Russo scored a century in 43 balls.
