Rashid Khan has shared a picture of an innocent girl who lost everything in this earthquake on Twitter. Sharing this picture, he wrote, “This little angel is the only surviving member of her family. The local people have not found any other member of this girl’s family after the earthquake. Many houses have collapsed due to the earthquake and people are still buried under the rubble in far flung areas. In such a situation, I appeal to all of you to help people as much as possible. Rashid himself is also raising funds for the victims. He had also released a video message regarding this.

Strongest earthquake in two decades in Afghanistan
Wednesday’s earthquake in Afghanistan was the most powerful in two decades. According to the Meteorological Department of neighboring Pakistan, the epicenter of the quake was in Paktika province, about 50 km south-west of Khost city. A Taliban army spokesman said weak telephone networks were affecting relief and rescue operations. With this, the death toll may increase.
Taliban government released Rs 87 crore
According to the report of Tolo News, the Taliban government has released 1 billion Afghani rupees (equivalent to Rs 87.53 crore) to help the people affected by the earthquake. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed condolences by tweeting and has offered humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. Other countries like Pakistan, Japan and South Korea have also promised help.
