New Delhi. Ravi Shastri has joined the Legends League cricket after his stint as the head coach with the Indian team. Ravi Shastri has been included as the commissioner of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) for the retired players, starting in January next year. The first season of this league will be played in January next year only in any country in the Gulf. Shastri said that it feels great to be associated with cricket, especially with the stalwarts of the game who have been their champions.
He issued a statement here and said that it is going to be a lot of fun too. The veteran players playing in this league do not want to prove anything, but still their reputation in this league will be at stake. The former Indian coach said that I can assure you, it will be interesting to see how they do justice to it. He said that I am very excited to be a part of this league. This is a unique initiative and we see a very bright future for it.
Former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England will be seen in this league, in which they will represent teams from India, Asia and rest of the world. Former Indian team physiotherapist Andrew Leipus is associated with this league as director (sports science).
