pandya needs rest
Former India head coach Ravi Shastri believes that Hardik should get enough rest before the T20 World Cup. There is a need to take care of his fitness. Talking to Star Sports, Ravi Shastri said, ‘He will come back to the team as a batsman or an all-rounder for me. I don’t think he is so injured that he can’t even bowl 2 overs. He has got enough rest and should continue. He should only play T20 cricket to go to the World Cup. He should not take the risk of playing ODIs.

Ravi Shastri further said, ‘He can work for 2 players. Hardik playing as a batsman would mean that he has to bat at number 4 or 5. If Hardik is playing as an all-rounder, he can bat at number 5 or 6. Despite this, he should also bowl 2 or 3 overs.
