Ahead of the IPL, a problem arose for Royal Challengers Bangalore when their fast bowler Josh Hazlewood was ruled out of a few matches. Josh Hazlewood said in an interview to Edge, ‘Everything is going according to plan. I will try to return by 14th April. It will depend on how I am for the next two weeks. I’m not ready to go yet. But by next week, I hope that I will be completely ready to go there.

Wood further said, ‘In T20 you do not need to take the work load. I will need to do 12 sessions of fast bowling as soon as I go. After that I will be ready to play. T20 is very different from Test cricket or ODI cricket, you just need to bowl 20 fast balls, which takes the match very close.
