Apart from tracking items of regular use, the tracker can also be used to track users’ smartphones. Double-tapping the JioTag rings the phone even when it is in silent mode.

Jio community find feature is supported by this newly launched bluetooth tracker. When people fail to find a connected item at the last disconnected location, they can list their JioTag as lost on the GeoThings app on their smartphone and the community find feature will search and report the location of the lost JioTag.
