Delhi Capitals will definitely miss Rishabh Pant in the current season of IPL. Pant is an explosive batsman as well as an excellent wicketkeeper who has the ability to single-handedly turn the tide of the match. In his place, Delhi Capitals have included young wicketkeeper Abhishek Porel in their squad. Rishabh Pant wrote on his official Twitter handle of social media before the match, ‘I am the 13th player of the team, because the impact player is the rule. Otherwise he would have been the 12th player.

Earlier, before the start of IPL, Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting had said that we want that if Pant is not with us in the dugout, then we will do something to make him feel that his absence is not felt by the players.
