Mumbai. Thando Antini, son of former South African fast bowler Makhaya Ntini, is learning cricket tricks from coach Dinesh Lad, who coached Indian captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Shardul Thakur. Thando, a left-handed batsman and right-arm bowler, represented South Africa in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup. This 21-year-old player is practicing under the supervision of Lad (Dinesh Lad) at Swami Vivekananda School located in Borivali suburban area here. Makhaya Antony has taken 390 wickets in 101 test matches for South Africa.

Dinesh Lad said, he has come here through a student of my railway team. My student was an assistant to the South African team in the Legends tournament and he told Makhaya about me. He said that the cricket season in South Africa is over and Thando has come here to improve his game. We started the practice on Wednesday and I have corrected some of its flaws. He will be here till June 2. Lad said that he was not taking any fee from Thando.
