Second ODI will be played between India and Australia on Sunday
Rohit Sharma to lead Team India in Visakhapatnam
New Delhi. The second match of the 3 ODI series between India and Australia will be played at the Dr. YS Rajasekhar Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series after winning the first ODI by 5 wickets. Regular captain Rohit Sharma will return to the team in the second ODI against the Kangaroos. In the absence of Rohit, who did not play the first match due to personal reasons, Hardik Pandya led the Indian team.
With the arrival of Rohit Sharma in the playing eleven of the second ODI, opener Ishaan Kishan is sure to be out. After scoring a double century, Ishaan’s bat is completely silent. Shubman Gill will open with Rohit and Virat Kohli will play at number 3. Runs are not coming even from the bat of Suryakumar Yadav. He could not even open the account in the first ODI. However, the team does not have a replacement for Surya at number 4. In such a situation, he can get a chance once again in the playing XI.
Rahul-Jadeja gave victory
Team India’s top order had completely failed on the fast pitch of Wankhede against Australia. The Indian team was struggling losing 5 wickets for 83 runs. Under these circumstances, KL Rahul, who came to bat at number five, gave a befitting reply to his critics by playing an unbeaten 75-run innings to win the team. Rahul was dropped from the team for not performing well in the first 2 Test matches against Australia. Apart from KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya (25 runs) and Ravindra Jadeja (45 runs) also played an important role in helping the team win.

It is difficult for Umran to get a chance
Captain Rohit Sharma hardly makes any change in bowling in Visakhapatnam ODI. Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj are bowling amazingly. Given the ability of third fast bowler Shardul Thakur to contribute with the bat, Umran Malik may have to sit on the bench again. Kuldeep Yadav is sure to play. He will spearhead the spin attack along with Ravindra Jadeja.
India’s probable playing XI for the second ODI: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shami.
