Royal Enfield has finally launched the Super Meteor 650 in India. The new Super Meteor 650 is the third motorcycle in the company’s current lineup to use the 648cc parallel twin engine. This engine generates power of 47 bph at 7,250 rpm and peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. Even though the engine is the same, it has a completely different styling as compared to the other two motorcycles equipped with this engine. Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 3,48,900 (ex-showroom). Apart from the standard, the company has launched a Solo Tourer Interstellar variant priced at Rs 3,63,900 (ex-showroom) and a Grand Tourer Celestial variant priced at Rs 3,78,900 (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield The Super Meteor 650 includes LED headlamp and USB charging port. The bike draws power from a 648 cc parallel twin engine, which is capable of generating 47 hp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The motorcycle is built on a tubular steel frame. It gets 120mm of travel up front, which is a first for any Royal Enfield motorcycle. It gets 101mm travel for the twin shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle rides on a 19-inch wheel at the front and a 16-inch wheel at the rear.

As far as braking is concerned, the Super Meteor 650 gets a single 320mm disc with a two-piston caliper while the rear gets a 300mm disc. Dual-channel ABS has been offered as standard fitment. The motorcycle has a fuel tank of 15.7 liters.
