The 30th match of IPL 2022 is being played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders today. During this match, such a scene was seen which cricket lovers would hardly have seen in T20 cricket. During the match, Rajasthan openers Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal gave proof of their fitness along with hitting shots. Both these batsmen stole four runs off a ball by running between the wickets.
Yes, this incident happened during the third over of the innings. Umesh Yadav had bowled the last ball yorker, but Buttler dug out the ball and played a shot in the direction of point. Chasing the ball, Venkatesh Iyer fielded brilliantly and dived to prevent the ball from crossing the boundary. By the time he threw the ball to the wicket-keeper, Butler and Padikkal had stolen 4 runs. Talking about the competition, Rajasthan Royals scored 99 runs in 10 overs for the loss of Devdutt Padikkal’s wicket. Captain Sanju Samson is present with Butler at the crease. Padikkal was bowled on a personal score of 24 by Sunil Narine and showed the way to the pavilion.
