According to a Reuters report, the US is considering giving Ukraine cheap, small and accurate bomb-type weapons. They can be attacked by putting them in rockets. With this help, Ukraine can target Russia without coming close to the Russian border. The thing to remember is that Boeing has prepared this weapon.

The need for arms has increased due to the Russia-Ukraine war. Because of this, other western countries including America are also facing shortage of weapons. On the other hand, Ukraine needs more and more advanced weapons in this war. This is the reason why America is thinking of giving that rocket weapon of Boeing to Ukraine. It is called Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB).

Reuters has its Report I have told that GLSDB can be supplied to Ukraine in the beginning of the year 2023. The warhead is made by combining the M26 rocket motor and the GBU-39 (a small diameter warhead). The cost of a GBU-39 bomb is said to be around $40,000. It is said that this bomb can do its work in any weather. It doesn’t even get caught by the electronic jammer. With its help, even armored vehicles can be destroyed. This bomb can attack up to 150 km range. If it is dropped from a rocket, it can destroy its target even 100 kilometers away.

Doug Bush, the US military’s chief arms buyer, told the media last week that the military is also considering ramping up production of 155-millimetre artillery shells. He said that the Russia-Ukraine war has increased the demand for US-made arms and ammunition. A lot of orders are being given to America for a series of weapons.

However, Boeing, which prepared GLSDB, has not given any reaction on this matter. Pentagon spokesman Lieutenant Commander Tim Gorman has also refused to speak on the proposed aid for Ukraine. However, he has definitely said that America and its allies will provide all possible help to Ukraine.
