Overall, in May this year, 3,06,022 scooters were sold more than in the month of May last year. TVS Jupiter sold 59,613 units in May 2022, which was 868.84 percent more than 6,153 units sold in May 2021. Jupiter’s share in the top-10 scooters category was 16.96 percent. Whereas, Suzuki Access sales increased from 9,706 units to 35,709 units.

TVS Ntorq was at number-4 in the category of top-10 selling scooters. Last month it sold 26,005 units. This is 499.61 percent more than the 4,337 units sold in May 2021. The next name in the list is that of Honda Dio. It sold 20,497 units in May. This is 1107.84 per cent higher than the 1,697 units sold in the same month last year. Talking about the sale of Hero Pleasure, 18,531 units of this scooter were sold last month. It sold 2,208 units in May last year.

In the list of top-10 scooters, Burgman stood at number 7 with 12,990 units. In May 2021, it sold 2,745 units. Hero Destini 125, Suzuki Avensis and Yamaha Razr are also included in the category of top-10 scooters. Talk about Ola Electric Scooter S1 Pro, it has sold 9,225 units in retail and is included in the category of top-10 scooters.
