In fact, Sapna Gill complained to the airport police station accusing Prithvi Shaw and his friend Ashish Yadav of molestation and assault with bat. Due to lack of action, he approached the court, but when the investigating officer reached the court, Sapna Gill’s allegations proved to be baseless. When the police submitted this report to the court, Sapna Gill’s lawyer Ali Ashif Khan made some requests to the court. He asked to present the alleged dispute which was recorded by Gill’s friend on the phone and went viral. At the same time, in the end, he demanded the CCTV footage of the incident that took place outside. After this, the court sought CCTV footage of the entire incident from the police and adjourned the matter till June 28.

What happened to the police investigation?

The police told the court through the CCTV footage inside the pub that Sapna and her friend Shobhit Thakur were dancing drunk. Sapna’s friend Shobhit wanted to make a video of Prithvi, for which the cricketer did not give permission and stopped him. According to the police, seeing the footage, it does not appear that Prithvi or any of his friends molested Sapna. Apart from this, statements of some people were also taken, in which it is clear that Shaw or his associates did not even touch Sapna in a wrong way. When it came to the CCTV of the Air Traffic Control Tower, it was found that Sapna chased Prithvi Shaw’s car with a baseball bat in his hand. Not only this, Sapna Gill proved to be wrong even after looking at the statement of CISF officials.

What was the statement of the CIF officer?

According to a CIF official, ‘They were informed about the clash outside the pub, when they reached there, they found the windshield of the car broken. According to the report, the driver of the car told that an argument broke out inside the pub and the manager asked him to leave. He wanted to register an FIR. When the officer looked, the woman was seen holding a baseball bat in her hand. When her friend sensed the arrival of the police, he snatched the bat from her hand. Citing the statement of the CISF officer, the report said that there was no man assaulting the woman.
