When India faced Pakistan in the 2015 ODI World Cup, Sohail Khan was one of the players from Pakistan who had a stellar performance in that game. The right-arm fast bowler gave 55 runs in the match and took five wickets. However, it was not enough to save his team from defeat. Because Virat Kohli was the star of the match with his innings of 107 runs.

I told him – son, when you were playing U-19 for India, then I was playing Test cricket for Pakistan (Beta jab tu U-19 khela tha, tera baap Test cricket khelta tha).”

Sohail Khan said in Nadir Ali’s podcast, “I said so. Then if you look carefully, Misbah intervened and he got angry with me. He told me to keep quiet.” Sohail further said that I have been playing Tests for Pakistan since 2006 and then I got injured.
