Sourav Ganguly COVID 19 health update BCCI President Stable Says Hospital


Kolkata. The condition of Sourav Ganguly, president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former Indian captain, remains ‘stable’. The hospital where Ganguly is undergoing treatment gave this information on Wednesday. Ganguly was admitted to the city hospital on Monday night as a precaution after the result of RT-PCR test for Kovid-19 came positive.

Dr. Rupali Basu, Director General and CEO, Woodlands Hospital said, “The BCCI President and former Indian cricket captain on the second day of hospitalization Sourav Ganguly He has a stable heart rate (hemodynamically stable), does not have a fever and has a 99 percent oxygen level without artificial aid.”

According to the statement, “the medical board is keeping a close watch on his health.” Ganguly has been admitted to the hospital twice earlier this year as well and had undergone angioplasty. In the same year, his elder brother Snehasish Ganguly was also found to be Kovid-19 positive.

The statement said, “Dr. A medical board comprising Dr. Saroj Mandal, Dr. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Sautik Panda in consultation with Devi Shetty and Dr. Aftab Khan is keeping a close watch on his health condition.”
