Sourav Ganguly told the name of 5 players.
Who will later make a big name in IPL.
New Delhi: It has been more than 15 years since IPL started in India. Many youngsters made a place in Team India by performing well in this league. Players like Shreyas Iyer, Ishaan Kishan are a better example of this. These players have earned a lot of name in IPL. Former Team India cricketer Sourav Ganguly was asked during an interview that which players will earn the most name in the upcoming IPL season. The surprising thing is that he did not name players like Sanju Samson, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer or Sarfaraz Khan.
During a conversation on Star Sports, the anchor asked which players would make a big name in the IPL in the years to come? Responding to this, Ganguly said, “Suryakumar Yadav is the best right now. But you can’t call them young. But Prithvi Shaw is a youngster and has a lot of talent in T20 cricket and Rishabh Pant is also better.
Ganguly further said, “Apart from this, I am also keeping an eye on Rituraj Gaikwad. I think these three batters will do well. Umran Malik is one such bowler. If he continues to be fit, he will maintain interest in the game at his own pace.
Apart from Ganguly, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag were also part of the panel. Answering the question, Irfan Pathan said, “Shubman is a superstar. I have no doubt in saying this. Supporting Irfan, Harbhajan Singh said, Shubman Gill is there for me too. I think he will become India’s captain going forward, not only in IPL.”
While giving this question, Virender Sehwag said, “Prithvi Shaw, so far in the history of IPL it has not happened that someone has hit 6 fours in 6 balls. It is the name of only one. Please tell that Prithvi Shaw hit 6 fours in 6 balls in IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders.
