The second match of the three-match T20 series between India and Australia is being played in Nagpur. The toss has been delayed due to a wet outfield. Ahead of the match, the team’s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has claimed the number 4 position in the batting order is perfect for him, as it helps him control the game.
Suryakumar Yadav has emerged as a key player in the Indian team since his T20 debut. He has scored a lot of runs in the shorter formats. Some of India’s legends, including Gautam Gambhir, had suggested that the 32-year-old should bat at No 3 but Yadav feels the No 4 slot is perfect for him.

Ahead of the second T20I, Suryakumar Yadav told Cricbuzz, “It has been an amazing journey. Great journey so far and working hard for everything. I have enjoyed batting everywhere, but number four is perfect for me. It helps me control the game. I enjoy batting when the pressure is high. Most importantly, the challenge for us in Australia will be to be smart with our shot selection. Everything else remains the same.”
