New Delhi. Steve Smith, the experienced batsman of the Australian cricket team, has set a record which is almost impossible for Virat Kohli to break. Smith is currently playing in Australia’s T20 Big Bash League. Smith, who played for the Sydney Sixers, hit a century off 56 balls, raining fours and sixes against the Adelaide Strikers. On the basis of Smith’s blistering century, the Sydney Sixers made a mountainous score.

Adelaide Strikers captain Travis Head won the toss and invited the Sydney Sixers to bat first. Josh Philippe and Steve Smith landed in the opening for Sydney Sixers. Josh Philip could not do anything special and returned to the pavilion after scoring 1 run on the third ball of the first over of the match. After this Smith got the support of Kurtis Patterson. Both the batsmen shared a 149-run partnership for the second wicket to take the team towards a big score.
