Abu Hubaidah, who came to participate in the ongoing 5th National Badminton Championship 2023 at Dr. Shakuntala Mishra Rehabilitation University, Mohan Road, told News18 Local in a special conversation that Gaurav Khanna, honored with the Dronacharya Award, has brought him to this place as a coach. Today Abu Hubaidah’s position is 6th in the world ranking. After doing B.Com from Lucknow University, he left his studies and focused completely on Para Badminton. Father Mohammad Qamar is a soldier in PAC and mother Nafisa Bano has always encouraged him.

Abu Hubaidah told that when his brother used to come home after playing cricket, he used to have many medals. Enthusiasm awoke after seeing his medal and decided that one day he too would have to register a medal in his name. Got the first medal in 2009. At the same time, when he won an international medal for the country in 2017, he felt very proud.

The goal is to win a medal in the Olympics
Abu Hubaidah, 28, has two daughters. He says that his goal is to bring gold medal to his country by winning the Para Badminton Championship in the Olympics. Along with this, Abu Hubaidah told that if there is any disabled person and people are taunting him, then consider those people as your friends and not your enemies. If such people are not there in life, then there will be no inspiration to move forward.
